The Lalaa ji app is promoted by Daajyu Innovations, a digital technology start-up based in Dehradun, Uttakrakhand, INDIA.
Daajyu Innovations is a digital empowerment campaign that assists vulnerable offline enterprises in engaging with the rising tide of online e-commercial ecosystems. It is an attempt to resist the unilateral direction that our common future is being pushed in by sectarian commercial interests. It intends to conserve and create online space for medium, small and micro enterprises as functional entities in the local and regional futurescape; as a bold statement on diversity. There are other areas in need of digital technology support which Daajyu Innovations is working intensively to address, with a focus on equity, empowerment and bridging the digital divide.
The Lalaa JI app was initially conceived and designed by Dr. Sunil Kainthola, founder of Mountain Shepherds Initiative , a community owned tourism enterprise. The process was catalyzed and facilitated by Dr. Brij Mohan Sharma of SPECS . Joginder Rohilla led the team of ETechDreams to develop that is shape it.
